I was very busy at the time so I employed a Garden designer for this one, Gary Horan a member of the GLDA. Gary is an award winning garden designer. The design he created was a beautiful flowing design with plenty of curves and semi circles in keeping with the brief.
This garden design was traditional in style and included: Raised semi-circular Bangkiri deck with recessed lighting and bench around the existing mature Silver birch, Raised beds created using Dunlavin natural stone, Two camel dust Indian sandstone seating areas, Meandering Ballylusk gravel path down to new garden shed, Raised synthetic golf green with dedicated pitching area far side of path, Pitching matt for pitching from anywhere within the garden, Koi carp water feature/hazard below golf green with adjacent bog area, New lawn surrounded by double camel dust cobble mowing edge, Second waterfeature within seating area by house for sound, Hot tub which was craned over house, Imported flat packed Gazebo installed behind golf green/painted white
Hunza garden lighting was installed throughout, including: Copper bollards on top of raised beds, Double pole lights around golf green and spike lights strategically placed within beds. Tyhe garden looked superb at night
The planting was made up of 30% perennials 70% shrubs including specimens to fill where required. All beds were covered with 75mm bark mulch to reduce maintenance. The clients were delighted with the job and posted the following five star review:
“Kevin only recently completed our garden. A top quality job from start to finish. My wife and I had virtually no idea about landscaping / gardening. We put all our thrust in Kevin. He offered advice and interacted with both of us from the very start making us both feel very involved. I can honestly say I was blown away on completion. The garden has exceeded all expectations. I cannot recommend Kevin and his team highly enough and I would not hesitate in using Kevin’s landscaping services again“.
