This house was part of a new estate in Greystones. As with a lot of new builds the lawn was in bad shape. The soil was very waterlogged due to compaction below. The surrounds were good with gravel boards dropped between concrete posts. Trellis had been installed to soften surrounds. The patio was created using Kilsaran 600×400 Massimo silver granite slabs which were well laid and looked great. Access was good for mini digger.
I sat down with the clients to discuss their requirements:

The design I created covered all the above, including: New 8×6′ Baumanns Custom built Garden shed painted in a light blue with white surrounds, Path and patio using Kilsaran Massimo silver granite slabs matching existing patio, Oatmeal granite cobbles bordering path and lawn area, Installation of mole drains to sort out drainage, Oatmeal kerbs creating raised beds, Low voltage lighting system throughout, Gate to hide wheelie bins, Instant roll out turf to complete lawn.
The planting was low maintenance. We transplanted the existing Crataegus and used Photinia and Bay Laurel lollipops to give instant effect. The clients were delighted with the results and kindly posted the following five star review:
