This was a run-down garden with central gravel area and old patio. The existing boundary was made up of mature trees/shrubs infested with briars and old rotten fence behind. It took a week of clearing, before we got any go forward.
The client required:
- Low maintenance
- Hardwood deck with inbuilt seat and table
- Storage under seat
- Raised beds
- Garden lighting
- Waterfeature
- New surrounds
- Privacy
The design I created covered all the above, including: 1.2M high rendered surrounding wall with Cedar wall extension, Raised beds, Seat with storage and custom built table topped with imported bespoke granite topper, Bangkiri hardwood deck with recessed lights glazing both deck and raised beds, Granite ball waterfeature with central light, Rectangular mirror the length of bed housing waterfeature, Uplighters within raised beds, Simple planting scheme including Lavanders and architectural plants. All rendered surfaces were further plastered with Acrylic in keeping with the low maintenance theme.
The clients were delighted with the result, posting the following five star review:
“The level of hard work, attention to detail and professionalism that Kevin provides is more than we could have asked for. Kevin provided us with exactly the garden we had in mind, while also giving great advice on the best use of our space.
Kevin is reliable, a pleasure to work with, and will provide the best quality results. We couldn’t recommend Kevin more highly“
