For this landscaping contract the client required a japanese courtyard, new driveway, a pergola, hardwood deck and lawn paths. The front garden landscaping consisted of a ballylusk gravel driveway with tegula retro bracken used for garden paths and mowing edges. A lavander hedge was used to separate the driveway from the lawn area. Laurel hedging was used to screen house from road and reduce noise.
The back garden landscaping design was made up of a hardwood deck and lawn paths leading through herbaceous borders down to a pergola built on japanese principles. A small courtyard leading from the master bedroom was created into a japanese garden with bamboo surround.
