Some flowers are more popular than other with Irish landscapers. This may be because some flowers are easier to grow while some are more difficult to grow. A flower that needs a bit of work in the dry weather is the Godetia Flower. Not that we get that much dry weather in Ireland but the odd occasion when there is a long spell of dry, sunny weather you will have to pay attention to the watering needs of the Godetia. The tall varieties of this flower require staking. You will need to sow the seeds in September or April where they are to flower.
Landscaping Tip: Any well drained garden soil will do but light or medium land is preferred.
